“The boat is remarkably well kitted out and piloted by experienced Captains who navigate the reefs with apparent ease! As a local teacher and parent, I would whole heartedly recommend them as the only place to get your child certified for PADI. They always deliver the right mix of honing the safety and technical skills while at the same time making the children see the joy and possibilities of this incredible hobby. Dive Bermuda go from strength to strength and work hard on a daily basis to sustain their formidable reputation.”

Our Gear and Equipment

As part of our 5-star mantra, we feel that providing you with high quality diving equipment for your exploration exploits is absolutely essential.

Here at Dive Bermuda Tech we can offer our top of the line XDeep Sidemount Harnesses and Apeks first & second stage regulators. It goes without saying that with most rental dive equipment, there is almost always a major compromise whether it be comfort or functionality.

The customizability and ingenuity behind the award winning Xdeep Stealth 2.0 sidemount system will allow maximum comfort while you feel like you're diving in your own personal BCD.

This combined with the use of high performance Apeks DS4/XTX50 Sidemount regulators will allow for effortless breathing and allow you to focus on nothing but the dive, even at the most demanding depths. Both of these systems are the go to for even the most adventurous explorers due to their unmatched performance, comfort and reliability.

All divers hate when equipment issues cause an unpleasant dive and we go the extra mile to ensure that your equipment never lets you down.

Our Story

Dive Bermuda was founded in 1981 as Nautilus Diving in the same spot here on the beach at the Fairmont Southampton Resort, we even still have the same phone number. Making the most of Bermuda's world class diving and the boom in recreational scuba diving, Nautilus quickly garnered a reputation as a fun, safe and pioneering dive centre.

The boat from Nautilus Diving

In the 1990's we changed owners and our name to the now familiar Dive Bermuda. In 1994 we joined PADI and have been a member for over 20 years now, training 1000's of divers from beginner all the way to instructor.

In 2011 we changed hands yet again with local lawyer Mark Diel taking the reigns. Mark worked at Dive Bermuda as a young man and has been associated with the company in one way or another ever since.

New and Exciting Ventures

Bermuda is home to one of the healthiest coral reef systems in the whole world and is believed to have incredibly beautiful deep reefs, sea-mounds and countless wrecks with gorgeous visibility, very few of which have ever been explored by divers. These deeper locations are also home to many pelagic species such as marlin, sailfish, tiger sharks, dolphins and many more.

Here, we are on the forefront of diving in one of the few places left on our blue planet to explore.

As the wreck diving capital of the Atlantic, Bermuda is home to over 300 wrecks and it is estimated that there are well over 100 wrecks just past the main reef breakers yet to be discovered. We intend to do our best to explore as much of these locations as possible and we would love for you to join us if the thrill of diving into the unknown is your cup of tea. Please do let us know if you are keen in joining our exploration exploits as we would jump at the chance of taking you places that no person has ever dived before!

Bermuda is also home to a large population of invasive Lionfish and many of which call the deeper parts of our reef “home”. These invasive pests play a major role in declining juvenile fish populations. As passionate marine conservationists we regularly partake in the removal of these delicious, yet dangerous fish with the hopes of preserving our precious ecosystem. Drop us a line if you too would like to learn how to safely and humanely hunt lionfish and save our reefs!
