Certified Divers

Whether you hold a PADI, BSAC, NAUI, SSI, TDI, CMAS or any other diving certification you are more than welcome to join us on our guided dives. Our dive center has a prime position on the smallest drawbridge at Somerset, Bermuda and offers access to a variety of both wreck and reef dive sites, most of which are within a 35-minute boat journey.

For our certified divers, we offer a 2 tank dive every morning. The usual schedule for our morning dives is that the first dive is a wreck dive and the second dive is a reef dive so you can see the diversity within the Bermudian waters. Check-in time for our 2 tank dive trip is dependent upon time of year, so when you book online we will provide you with your specific check in time.

Each afternoon we offer a 1 tank dive to a shallow reef which is an option for the inexperienced divers or for those looking to make the most out of their bottom times.

For our technical divers we will be offering access to exclusive sites and special trips for those individuals that are really looking to dive into the mysterious depths of the Bermuda Triangle! Check out our Tech Courses here.

For certified divers, who want to continue their education we offer a whole host of specialty courses to help progress you as a diver and work towards the Master Scuba Diver rating. Details of our courses we offer can be found here.

I’ve had a lot of varied dive host experiences... and this is one of the best EVER! The team is efficient, friendly, engaging and always put safety as a number one priority. I dove with Marlee as our guide and Arran as our boat captain on Bottom Time. Both are extraordinary diving professionals. I’m an experienced diver with a camera in the water and Marlee guided us at the perfect pace to tour the wrecks we dove.

They provided concierge service by switching out my gear for me between dives... and giving me ample time to inspect. I love it when a team adjusts to the expertise level of the diver in the water... it enhances the whole dive experience.
This is a well oiled dive operation. I would not hesitate to dive with them again... and again... and again!

“WOW !! What a fantastic opportunity for our family to be able to take 6 non-divers on their first truly perfect dive experience.
The time with them to teach and train for their Discover Scuba was perfect. Dive Bermuda have the expertise to train young kids and take care of the anxiety that showed up… (I was worried about Joey and Arran knew exactly what he needed and got him in the water to get his mind off his sea sickness, he can’t stop talking about the experience).
Arran and Marlee you are a 10 star shop and we hope to get back with you someday and bring some newly certified family with us.

You made my birthday a very special and memorable day”

Scuba Refresher

If you have had a break from diving for a few years or just want to feel more confident in the water then our scuba refresher program will help you to feel comfortable in the water again. Your safety and comfortability is paramount to us, if you have not dived in more than two years and have less than 50 dives we require you to take a Scuba Refresher.

The scuba refresher program is run every afternoon and includes a small skills session in the shallow water as well as a re-acquaintance with the setup of the equipment. After completing the skills, you will join the boat for the afternoon dive to a shallow reef. Check-in time 12:45 pm returning around 4.30 pm (9:30 am - 3.30 pm,
October 16th- November 20th).

PADI recommends taking part in a scuba refresher program if you haven’t been diving for about 18 months, but the program is available to any certified divers looking to feel comfortable again or for inexperienced divers looking to check out the local conditions before diving.

In order to secure a spot on our boat, please schedule your dives with us online.

“They do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your day, but also making sure everyone is safe. Everything went smoothly and they felt like old friends before we made it back to the dock. The dive boat had everything you need and the ladder made it easy to get back on board after the dive. They spoiled us by setting up/switching out our gear. The dives on this side of the island were AMAZING! We were lucky enough to dive with Dakota, who was a joy to dive with. They all have such an obvious love for what they do. Highly recommend this diveshop!”

Discover Scuba Diving

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course gives non-certified divers the option to experience just what the underwater world has to offer without the commitment of a full course or to try diving before advancing to the Open Water Course.

Every afternoon you can join us in the bay for a shallow water session where we will teach you some basic principles of diving after which you will join the dive boat for its departure to a shallow reef site off the South Shore of Bermuda. Check-in time 12:45pm returning around 4.30 pm.

This program is our most popular after the Open Water Course- this allows you to experience the underwater world under the direct supervision of a experienced Instructor. Your maximum depth will be 40 feet/ 12 meters, your time underwater is usually between 45 to 55 minutes. Of course this depends on the diver!

Please be aware you must be medically fit to dive and be able to swim comfortably in the ocean. Full details of the medical questionnaire can be found here: PADI Medical
