Q. Do we provide transfers?

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to pick up guests. The best ways to get to our center is by moped, bus, ferry or taxi.

Traveling by Bus:

You can catch any of the number 7, 8 from the Hamilton Bus Terminal directly to our location at Somerset. The numbers 10 and 11 are slightly quicker.

From the bus terminal on Church Street, Hamilton: Travel time is about 45- 55 minutes.

From Kings Wharf, Dockyard: Travel time is around 20 minutes. 

From St. George's: Travel time is around 75-85 minutes. Not including a bus change in Hamilton.

Traveling by Taxi:

From Hamilton: Travel time is around 55 minutes. Cost approximately $65-75

From Dockyard: Travel time is around 15 minutes. Cost approximately $25-$45 (Mon through Sat) and $45 to $55 on Sundays.

Q. Where can I stay while on Island?

A. We first and foremost recommend Hamilton Princess & Beach Club. Hotels closer to our location in Somerset that we can recommend are Cambridge Beaches, Pompano Beach Club, Willowbank Resort and The Reefs or you would like to know of other accommodation close by please visit the Bermuda Tourism accommodation page.

Q. What will the water temperature and visibility be?

A. Although we can't guarantee the conditions we can give you an idea of Bermuda's averages.

 Q. Are you open?

A. We have been open since June 1st, 2023 at our Somerset location. We will close on the 20th of November, 2023 and reopen in May 1st, 2024.

We have temporarily closed our Fairmont Southampton location until our renovations are complete in 2025. You can also dive with out of our sister dive center at Grotto Bay. Our Grotto Bay location offers diving to our Northern and Eastern sites.

Q. Do we offer gear storage?

A. Our dive center is equipped with a storage room where you can leave all your equipment for the duration of your stay on Island. We will wash and clean your BCDs, regulators and wetsuits, before locking them in the center at night to dry. Alternatively you can leave your gear on the boat securely locked in the forward hold.

Q. What facilities do you offer divers?

A. We offer all bathroom facilities including cool showers, change rooms, lockers, chilled drinking water and access to the gas station for snacks and drinks. Please bring a towel with you to our Somerset location!

Q. What do we sell at the dive center?

A. We offer a range of Dive Bermuda branded merchandise, including t-shirts, baseball caps and stickers. We also sell reef safe sunscreen, wreck maps, reef fish Identification slates, swimming goggles, and sunshirts/rash guards. Unfortunately we do not sell masks or fins. You can rent them from us though!

Q. What courses do we offer?

A. We offer PADI recreational courses from Open Water to Divemaster, as well as a range of specialty dive courses. Our most popular course for beginners are the Discover Scuba Dive program and Open Water Course. For certified divers, consider getting your Advanced Open Water or doing our unique Bermuda Triangle Diver Specialty. For a comprehensive list visit our courses page.

For those divers looking to delve into the Technical world of diving we will be offering the following; TDI and SDI Sidemount Diver, SDI Solo Diver, SDI Wreck Diver, Advanced Nitrox, SDI Deep Diver with more Courses coming!

Q. What type of diving do we offer.

A. Generally our two tank morning trip is one wreck, one reef. Most of our south shore sites are located within a 30 to 40 minute boat ride from the dive center. The wreck sites between 55 and 75 feet in depth. The shallower reef dive is usually in the region of 30 - 45ft. We check in at 8 am and try to leave as close to 9 am as possible. Depending on the location of the site we expect to be back around 12 pm, give or take 20 minutes. For more information visit our diving page

During the months of Mid October and November will be running a single daily trip. Check in is at 10.30 am returning around 3.30 pm. We close from 20th of November to May 1st, 2024.

We will also be offering exclusive dive trips to find new sites that are deeper and exploratory dives to locate previously undiscovered wrecks and deeper dive sites with Lionfish populations.

Q. Do we offer night dives?

A. Due to the treacherous and shallow reef surrounding the Bermuda coastline, we do not offer night dives. Your safety is our top priority.

Q. What do we need to bring with us?

A. If you are a certified diver please bring your card for verification by our dive crew. Onboard we have fresh water, hoods and dive socks. There is also a marine head. You are welcome to leave bags and anything you want to stay dry in the dive center. If you have valuables please ask our helpful dive crew who will store them behind the counter. You can bring personal possessions on board, but keep in mind you will have to wade in the water to enter the boat and we cannot guarantee it will stay dry.  Please leave your shoes in the dive center.

Q. Do we rent equipment for shore dives?

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to rent equipment for unguided shore diving. All of our dives are guided by one of our experienced instructor team from our dive boat Narcosis or Bottom Time.
